Gaskets
Spiral wound gaskets are composed of a metallic continuous strip(SS 304, 304L, 316 , 316L, 310, 320, 321, Monel 400, Nickel 200, 201, Inconel 600, 625, Hastalloy HB2, C276, Titanium) with a specially shaped profile, coupled with continuous filling strip (of Asbestos, Non Asbestos, PTFE, Graphite, Ceramic etc) evenly wounded in concentric spiral under constant stress. SPW gaskets are available with inner, outer, either inner or outer, without inner or outer rings. Standard SPW Gaskets are made for flanges as per ANSI B 16.5, ASME B 16.20, API 605, DIN, BS 3381, BS 4865. Custom made gaskets are also available as per customer drawing.
